Studying for this exam is not fun and it is totally normal to wake up some days and not feel motivated to do anything RD exam related. I encourage my students to pick 1 day a week to have "off" from studying as having a planned day off can be really helpful to stick to a study schedule. It helps to give you something to work to and look forward to! There is always a reason now to study and if you find yourself frequently not sticky to your study schedule and pushing your exam, these are signs that you need to work on a more realistic study schedule and accountability.
Needing more accountability with classes/tutoring doesn't need that you can't study for the exam on your own, it is just being honest with yourself and helping you to increase the quality of your studying. Remember quality > quantify.
One of my favorite offerings for students who want accountability in their studying is my monthly groups (next starts June 6th). This monthly group runs the first 4 Sundays of the month from 6-8pEST and also includes assignments with due dates and weekly accountably check-ins via email. Waitlist for June is now open and spots are limited to 8 students so be sure to reach out if you was interested!
As one of my professors always says about studying to be a dietitian... It takes a village and glad to have you all in this little village.
