Upcoming Classes, July Group and Math Tips

Happy Sunday!

If you hate the math section of the exam you are not alone! Math is not a favorite subject of many dietitian and the math that we see on the exam is not what we would be using in our everyday jobs. With the math it can be very tempting to try to memorize everything, but if we aren't able to apply the topics, we are not going to get far and this is going to result in you getting several math questions on your exam as it is adaptive and once you get 1 wrong it will trigger more.

Best way to get past the math?

#1 Start early! Do not leave this until the last minute.

#2 Study all of it together. Just because it is throughout the exam, doesn't mean you can't reorganize to make it make the most sense for you!

#3 Get help if you need it. Post a question on the page or attend the equations classes coming up (see upcoming classes) or check out the recorded equations classes.

Also very exciting for July is that I'm planning to launch my fully self guided video course 7/15! (More details to come!). Also don't forget July group registration ends Wednesday!

-DJF

The cost of the group is $150 and this includes 8 hours of live tutoring over 4 2 hour sessions. The sessions will be 6-8pmEST on 7/4, 7/11, 7/18, 7/25 .

Each week we will cover a general review of each domain. Each session is a mix of presentation, discussion and practice questions. As we can of course not cover everything in each domain in 2 hours, you will also have assignments to complete each week. These are a mix of homeworks, study guides and self guided lessons. Throughout the course I do also offer support via email and group students also have the option to add on additional one-on-one sessions and recorded/live courses.

Student Review: "Group Tutoring Sessions with Dana is GREAT! The homework assignments she gives are very thorough and cover a variety of important topics you might see on the exam. She is very timely with responses and has great availability, she is only just an email away! Her feedback on the homework assignments are great, as well as her lectures. She really enriched my learning experience for this exam. She truly cares for her students and wants us to succeed, I 10/10 recommend her group tutoring sessions!" -RR (April Group) I only take 8 students per group and spots tend to fill quickly (3 spots left for July) so do not hesitate to register if you think this program would be a good fit for you! Add on the recorded sessions of the Sunday class materials for only $100. This group also runs monthly so if you would like to be put on the wait list for another month please let me know! Currently 7 spots available for August and September.
