The monthly group tutoring is one of my favorite options as it gives students the extra structure that they need to study efficiently for the exam. The December group will be the 12th month that I am running it! This 4 week courses provides students with the structure and accountability they need to stay on track with their studying. This course is a general review course that includes 4 classes each class is focused on 1 domain and is a mix of lecture, practice questions and discussion, weekly homework assignments and resources. Typically this offerings includes 4 weekly 2 hours live classes, but as many students are taking their exams before the holidays I will be offering a slightly different format. For December, the course will cost $200 and include recorded courses of the general review course (typically $250). In addition to the recorded classes, the December course will have 2 live classes on 12/12 and 12/19 6-8pest to complete the Domain 2 and 3 classes live as these are typically the most difficult for students and best to complete together.
The course will also include 6 extra bonus classes to help students to tackle some of the most difficult exam topics. Bonus courses will include: Food Science, Tube Feeding, TPN, Equations Part 1 and 2, and Kitchen Topics. Students also have the option to upgrade to the Gold Bundle to receive all the benefits of the Silver (base package) plus my 7 course MNT bundle! The benefit of this structure is it will allow you to complete the course at your own pace as you will have the recorded videos and access to all the content starting 12/1, but will still give the option to come to live versions of Domain 2 and 3 classes to keep you accountable. "I started the group tutoring halfway through my preparation for the RD exam. I thought that it was such a good idea, as I already had a baseline for what I needed to know. The live classes, homework that comes along with the package really reinforced my understanding of the material. Plus, now that Dana has those live classes in a recorded version, it has made studying for me so much easier. I could pause and take down notes, or repeat the sections that don't understand. Dana is such a supportive tutor. She is willing to listen to you and answer whatever questions you have. From study schedule, RD exam questions, study tips, etc. Her email replies are fairly quick.
