How to get the Most Out of the Facebook Group!

Updated: Aug 9, 2022

Everyday the community on my Facebook page, Registered Dietitian Exam Study Group with Dana RD, grows and I love hosting this free resource for you all, but also want to make sure you get the most out of it! Here are my tips:

  1. Give every practice question a try. We learn best when we challenge ourselves and commenting with an answer is a great way to do this! When we can explain the answer to others that is a great test to show we know it. If you aren't sure, don't worry because we will review the answer in the Sunday 8p est Facebook lives.

  2. Post questions on the Facebook Page. While I think the Inman questions are great, they don't have any explanations. If you are reviewing a practice question and aren't sure why the correct answer is correct, post to to the page so your peers can give insight and this also ensures I chat about it on the next Facebook live.

  3. Watch the Facebook Lives. Every Sunday night at 8p est since September 2020 I have been jumping on a Facebook live to review all of the questions posted by myself and you. All the past recordings are saved to the page so that means there is over 100 hours of free classes on the Facebook page. To find them search weekly live or go to the guides section at the top of the page. The most recent ones are usually posted to the announcement section.

  4. Listen to the podcast. If you haven't already head over to Spotify/Apple Podcast to listen to my new podcast Dietetics with Dana! In this weekly podcast I chat study tips, review topics and you can also catch the questions from the Facebook lives here too!

  5. Free Recorded Course. Did you know I have over 50 recorded classes available for purchase? Plus 3 free courses to help you learn how to study best and also for you to test our my tutoring style before you buy a course. My free courses are RD Exam Prep, Can Sizes and MNT Part 1. Grab them all today on my website!

I offer all of these free resources so that you all have access to tutoring options! If you need additional support be sure to visit my website to learn about group, private and recorded tutoring options!
